So Melbourne Coastrek is almost here. It was late last year, but seems like just yesterday that our team got together, and decided that yes, we would have a go at this event. Tonight we are having our last team meeting and then on Thursday we head off to Sorrento, ready and keen for the event on Friday.
Our team ‘No Bounce Here’ have been training for months for this event, so we are now very excited that the day is almost here
This week has been an easy week as far as training goes. As usual, I’ve been in the gym each week day doing strength training and have walked most days. But the difference this week is that the walks have been only about 5 or 10k. Except for Saturday when I walked 13ks on the O’Keefe Rail Trail towards Bendigo.
Yesterday, just to be sure that all would be ok, I had a bit of a tune up on the dodgy knee with the sports physio. Even though my knee is wrecked, it seems to have recovered really well from the last flare up. I have every confidence in it for Coastrek and hopefully into the future.
These are just a few photos from this weeks walking sessions.
