Week 3 I Quit Sugar was all about reading labels and checking out the amount of sugar in foods. Although I regularly read labels, I did find it horrifying to see exactly how much sugar is in some foods we regularly consume. Particularly the sugar in foods that we wouldn’t expect to contain sugar. These were some of the photos shown to us to demonstrate. As usual Sarah Wilson uses great photographic images to press a point.
I’m managing to stay sugar free so far, but not sure if I can make it a life-long choice as I had intended. I do find myself craving something sweet at times. Just going to accept that as normal for this stage and see what happens.
