Day 1: Time to get started. My big change for Day 1 was to eat a healthy breakfast of Oatmeal and Raspberries. Lately I’ve been skipping breakfast, even though I know it’s a stupid thing to do. Eating breakfast is the best way to kick start the day in a healthy way. Skipping breakfast also leads to snacking and making bad choices for the rest of the day. At least I know it does for me.
For the rest of the week, I focussed on making one healthy choice every day. Not putting myself under pressure at all. Just trying to be sensible. More fruit and veg. More exercise. Less fat and sugar. And trying to make the time to plan ahead. For me, that’s the key to staying on track.
