I am back again for the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge so have made the commitment to blog every day in April except the Sundays. Some bloggers choose a Theme, and others do random posts. For me, a theme works better, so the theme I’ve chosen for 2016 is Bendigo. I live just outside Bendigo and have been in this area for only 9 years, so feel I still have ‘visitors eyes’.
F is for Farmers Market, or more correctly, Bendigo Community Farmers Market. This very popular market is celebrating it’s sixth anniversary this year. It has been a huge success from the start, with both stall holders and attendances steadily increasing.
The market is held in the Bendigo CBD on the second Saturday of every month and features seasonally fresh produce from growers and makers in the region. The quality of produce from this market has always been excellent, in my opinion. The Bendigo Community Farmers Market is VFMA accredited (Victorian Farmers Market Association)

This sounds like a wise place to shop for food. We have a number of farmers’s markets around the area where I live, but I don’t go to them. I really should sometimes as I need to eat more healthy foods.
