This is my last post for 2019. It’s been a really busy year for me, both in work and in life. Our family Christmas was held last weekend and as usual, it was a three day celebration. This weekend celebration of Christmas and family, is my favourite weekend of the year. I love catching up with family members who are scattered here and there.  For us, it’s a three hour drive to get there, and there others who come further. So, Christmas Day is very quiet for us, which is how we like it. We both work over the Christmas/New Year Period, and I work until late on Christmas Eve, so Christmas Day is our only day off. After being extremely busy at work in the days before Christmas Day, we are just looking to take it easy. We will sit down to a traditional christmas lunch, which we plan to share with two friends.

2019 has been a great year of blogging. the big highlight for me is the ongoing connection with bloggers that I’ve met in past years. I have come across many new blogs this year and created new connections with bloggers, that I hope will continue into the future. This facet of blogging does bring me great joy.
