As you can see, my blog has a new look. I decided it needed a professional makeover, in readiness for my 1000k pilgrimmage walk in Spain. I hope you like it, as I’m very excited about it.
I was very surprised to see that this post, my first on the new website, is my 150th post. When I wrote my first post, very tentatively, a few years ago now, I never imagined that one day, there would be 150 of them written. Now I’m very much looking forward to the next 150, which will appear much more quickly than the first.
The pilgrimage walk, in Spain, that was the catalyst for this new website, starts in May. With my friend Nadine, I will be walking 1000k in 6 weeks, starting at the base of the Pyrenees in France and crossing Spain to Santiago de Compostela. I’m planning regular posts, recording the highs and lows of this epic trek, along the way. And starting very soon, I will start posting about our preparation and training.
This is going to be a huge adventure for us, which I am very excited about, though just a little bit nervous. I would love for you to join me and follow the fun. You can subscribe on the side bar at left.
Congratulations on the new site Jen it’s great. I have to get my act into gear too.
The countdown is on and yes we are both very excited but also very clear about just what a task we have undertaken.
For those purists who have said it’s not 1000 Ks. The Camino Frances is 793k. Jennifer and I will be walking on to Muxia and Finnisterre and back to Santiago de Compostela. This equals just over 1000k.
There is an about Camino page at top right of blog. Will be posting Camino logistical info there tomorrow
looking forward to your posts Jen!
Thanks Susan. Great to have you following
