Bridgewater Walk

October 10, 2021 By nextphaseinfitness 20 Comments

Last weekend, we decided to go for a short road trip to Bridgewater, so we could do one of our favourite walks. Bridgewater is only about 50km from home so we go there fairly often. It’s been an extra special destination in these covid times, each time we’ve come out of lockdown.

Walking along the Loddon River is beautiful, and following up with a coffee by the river makes a perfect day.

Looks like a great hike. It’s the best time of year to be out in nature…although any time of year is good for that, I guess.

Except cold dreary winter days Jo. But we can’t get away from those days here so just have to do it

I’m so glad you can get out again Jen, it must be so good for your soul to go on beautiful walks again away from home. #lifethisweek

We’re not doing much Deb. Just quiet walks. Staying away from shops and cafes for a while yet

Gosh what a pretty destination and not too far from home.

I bet it’s so peaceful sitting out by the river, walking by it. It looks like it was a beautiful day too. It’s nice to have a place to go to and enjoy the scenery, especially over the past year. 🙂
