Camino Reflections

June 12, 2014 By nextphaseinfitness Leave a Comment

Over the past couple of days, I’ve been reflecting on my first 12 days on The Camino.
There have been extremely difficult days, and easier days that are still difficult at times.
Crossing The Pyrenees was a challenge, but a challenge that I really did love. Everything was thrown at us – heavy rain, fog, freezing cold and very muddy, slippery conditions in places.
My favohrite day so far would be day 2. It was a tough day going over The Pyrenees, in wet and cold weather conditions, but I really loved the challenge.
There are things that I love about The Camino and there are things that I dislike about it. I am compiling a love/hate list but not revealing it yet, as the loves & hates keep swapping sides. Some days loves are hates and vice versa.
Below is my Pilgrim Passport so far. Stamps are given each day at the Albergue where we stay. We are also able to get our passport stamped at coffee shops in the small villages which we pass through.
