Day 17 Carrion de los Condes to Terradillos de los Templarios

June 19, 2014 By nextphaseinfitness Leave a Comment

Was planning to leave early, but did not really turn out that way, which stressed me out a bit before the day started.
But wasn’t long before the walking became rhythmic. Today we walked close to 30k. Most of it was on a dusty track, and again with loose stones. There was only one small village along the way today, which was a welcome sight at 16ks. Very few distractions today and much time to think and mull things over
Today we passed the halfway to Santiago mark. We are walking on further from Santiago, to Finisterre, so not quite halfway for us yet.
Our overnight stop was at a lovely private albergue in the country. Heading towards more populated areas tomorrow.

Very cute heart and arrow showing the way, made from the loose stones we are walking on day after day.
