Faced with a bit of wind today, so decided to do a ride out into the head wind and hopefully back with the tailwind. But as any cyclist knows, this plan rarely works out. We seemed to have the wind in front of us for the entire ride. After our regular coffee stop at the end of the ride, I decided to do a few hills to get the calorie burn up a bit. Legs were feeling quite tired at the end.
Today was Day 1 of running training for some upcoming events during this year. I haven’t been able to run for a while, due to an injury, so need to start back at square 1. The type of running I most love is trail running – out in the bush with my dogs. So we hit the hills running, but at a slow pace and the result was 766 calories gone., helped by some shuttle runs up a hill. I loved it and can’t wait to do it again
