The Excellence Series is another of Craig Harper’s amazing events. Due to the times we are living at the moment, the event is virtual. Having a virtual event is much more convenient for me, as I’m two and a half hours away from Melbourne where they are usually held. The Excellence Series is a series of four highly respected thinkers, educators, motivators and speakers. They are also regular guests on Craig’s podcast,
The You Project.
I love this podcast and never miss an episode. Over the years, I feel as though I’ve come to know these guests well, so spending a couple of hours with them, in the comfort of my own home felt like an honour. The event is held over four weeks, with one speaker each week.
Lisa Stephenson
You are Your Most Important Project
Lisa asked us to think about and to define success. What does success mean to you? After giving this question much thought, I’ve come up with the following as my version of success:
To feel an abundance of love and joy in life means success to me.

Lisa Stephenson’s book
Have you ever given thought to what success means to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts and promise to reply to all comments made.

I love your version of success, Jennifer. This Excellence Series sounds marvelous. I’m glad you are able to participate and look forward to hearing about the other speakers. I haven’t refined my definition of success, but I would say it involves being healthy, joyful, connecting with others, and continually learning and having new experiences.
I’m pleased you like my version of success Christie. It took me ages to get into a couple of sentences. Your definition of success sounds great to me.
I’ve thought a lot about this question – the defining of success – and I haven’t yet been able to succintly put it into a sentence as you have. At top of mind is relacing my corporate income with income from writing, but more than that is to create a body of work that I’m proud of, and to be physically and financially healthy enough to say yes to opportunities. Yep, it needs a bit of work.
Jo it took me days of thinking to come up with mine. You’ve got the bare bones, won’t take you long now to get it into a couple of sentences.
Thanks Jennifer for sharing this Excellence series and about Lisa Stephenson. I watched the video clip that you provided. She seems to be a very good motivational speaker. #lifethisweek

Great question Jennifer and I like your response. I don’t know what I’d say my version of excellence was, but I will give it some though nowt! #lifethisweek
Thanks Deb. At first I had no idea of my idea of success until I get it some serious thought
