My holidays have arrived! I’ve been looking forward for a while, to this enforced holiday time. Enforced because I’m having to take time off , due to clients being away on holidays. But it’s all good. I’m happy to work my holidays around them.
So what to do? I’m not going away anywhere, but want the days off to count for something. I don’t want to get to the end of them and wonder what on earth I did to waste almost two weeks.
After giving it much thought, I’ve decided that my holidays are going to be a MINI BOOTCAMP, incorporating strength training, running, cycling and hiking.
The plan is each day to do two of the above. eg strength training or running plus cycling or hiking.
This will incorporate the TOGO920 challenge that I’m doing at the moment. That challenge is to cycle 920 kilometers in 8 weeks.
Readers will know that I have a home gym, so the early mornings will see me there to get the strength training or tready running done. Followed a bit later by a bike ride or bushwalk.
This sounds to me like a perfect stay at home holiday.
Say hello if you see me out and about. Looking for training buddies too!
go you good thing!
I’m on annual leave from my day job at the moment too and I agree with you. I want to make sure I dont come to the end of it, not completing much! I’m not anywhere as motivated as you though, my treadmill is collecting dust!
Nice to meet you Dee. Look forward to following your progress
