The exciting news is that I have a new home gym. We had a spare room at the back of the house that we’ve spent the past couple weekends on converting and have also been purchasing new equipment. I have a new treadmill and weights station which I love. A rower is ordered and should arrive this week. I already have a boxing bag which will be installed shortly.
So there’s no excuses acceptable now.
To celebrate the new gym, I decided to do another round of Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation. The main reason was to get my focus back and use her programs again as I always really enjoy her workouts.
So we kicked off on Monday and so far I’ve done weights and cardio sessions in the new gym. I have everything I need in there and am really loving it. Cardio days are 30 mins of running and rowing. As my rower hasn’t yet arrived I’ve been following the tready with step ups. Still gets the heart rate well up.
As the 55km Sydney Coastrek training is in full swing, of course I’m still out there walking. Which means, I’m having to do two workouts each day. Today I’m really feeling every muscle in my legs and backside. But I do love that feeling of gym soreness. Confirms that I’m working hard enough.
