Spring Colour in the Garden

October 29, 2019 By nextphaseinfitness 16 Comments

For today, just a post of photos. As I put this post together, today is day 58 of spring. A spring that I had been long looking forward to,after experiencing a very brutal winter. At last, now there is sunshine and warmth, I’m enjoying every moment I can take, to get out into the garden.

As I’ve been pulling out the many weeds, at the same time I’ve been admiring the spring flowers. The garden is now three years old and is starting to look quite lovely. It’s been a very long and slow progress to get to this point, due to the dry weather with very little rain. Also our soil here leaves a lot to be desired so improvimg it has been a constant work in progress, and still is.

I thought you also might enjoy seeing some of these flowers..

It’s just lovely when the flowers come out after winter, isn’t it? Canberra gets cold too so it’s a much appreciated change. Thanks for the photos.
