The Stone Soup Blog

July 19, 2012 By nextphaseinfitness Leave a Comment

A few weeks ago I attended an all day Blogging Masterclass as part of the Emerging Writers Festival. There were a number of presenters, who were all very interesting and informative in different ways. My favourite session of the day was presented by Jules Clancy of Stone Soup.

Jules has turned her food blog into her main source of income, after a successful career in food science. She was very down to earth and eager to pass on any information to help us.  Even though, I have no interest in earning an income from this tiny blog, I found her very inspiring and couldn’t wait to check out the Stone Soup blog.

I’ve since become a devotee, loving her recipes.  A Monday treat is the weekly with recipes and hints for using fresh fruit and veges in season. Jules has also published beautiful cook books available for purchase. New visitors to the blog are also able to download a free e-book.  This e-book is very generous with many great recipes, both healthy, and slightly decadent.

Most of the recipes on this blog are very simple, with just a few ingredients  and mostly healthy and fresh. The photos and styling are stunning.
