Time to get moving again

September 4, 2014 By nextphaseinfitness 1 Comment

Time to pull myself out of this post Camino slump that I’ve been wallowing in for the past few weeks. A couple of weeks after the Camino, I broke a couple of ribs and then developed pneumonia. But I’m now feeling like my old self now so it’s time for…..No Excuses!
I’m hopeless without a goal, so the first job is to figure put what’s next. What challenge do I start training for now? As yet I’m not sure, but will give it some serious thought.
For now though, I think the best thing is to stick with smaller goals until something big takes my attention.
The highlight of this week was getting back to gym, even though that means setting the alarm for 4.30am
For now, at gym, I’m just going to concentrate on strength training and expresso bikes. I love the expresso bikes! They are interactive and make riding a stationary bike a bit more fun.
Also it’s time to dust off my road bike and get out there and start pedalling. Can’t wait!
