These two weeks have been all about walking and riding. The Great Cycle Challenge is on now for the month of October, and unfortunately due to training for Sydney Coastrek I haven’t been able to do as much riding as I would have liked during October. But have done 4 smaller rides. I say smaller, but they were both over 20k. They were a challenge to fit in so I’m happy with that and pleased that I did them. But will be doing much more next week.
As opposed to cyling, walking over the past two weeks has continued to be full on. In the past two weeks, I’ve walked at least 10k every day, carrying a weighted pack. One day during this week, I managed to fit in a 15k walk. So the walking training is on track. Time and intensity will be increasing next week.
